Rotel AG was founded in 1948. Our first product - a fan - sold in very modest quantities, however, because of the rainy summer. In the autumn, therefore, the motor and fan blades were speedily fitted with a heater element, put into a metal housing, and successfully sold the next winter as the “Rotel Climaboy Fan Heater”. In the following years, the range of small appliances was systematically expanded with hair-driers, food processing machines and hand mixers, vacuum cleaners, juicers, grills, and espresso machines. Since the start of the 60s, Rotel has also been selling a complete range of freestanding large electrical appliances.

With sales of some 400,000 appliances a year, Rotel is today a successful and leading full-range supplier in the electrical appliances field and covers a majority of consumer requirements. You will find an overview of our entire sales program on the following pages. Our motto at all times is top quality at attractive prices. High quality is guaranteed by having our own modern test laboratory and strict inspections of incoming material. Should anything nevertheless go wrong, the extensive Rotel service network ensures that the appliance is back in operation to the full satisfaction of the customer as soon as possible. Competitive prices are one of the most important advantages in today’s toughly fought market. Our aim, therefore, is to offer not only the best quality and functionality but also a customer-friendly price point.
